	Reservation Policies Room Deposit A midweek stay requires a deposit of the full room cost to guarantee the reservation. A weekend stay requires a two-night minimum. Weekend and longer stays require, as a deposit, half of the total cost of the stay, with the deposit being applied to the last days of stay. Reservations not secured by a deposit within two weeks of booking will be released. Cancellations Deposits are refundable, less a $10.00 service charge, with advance notice of 10 days or more prior to the date of arrival. With less than 10 days notice, deposits will be refunded (minus a $10.00 service charge) only if the room is rebooked. Payments We accept cash, personal checks, traveler's checks and all major credit cards including American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. Check-In and Check-Out Check-In is at 2pm and check-out is by 11am. Children Children sixteen years old and over are welcome. Pets Sorry we are unable to accommodate any pets. Smoking Policy We are completely non-smoking. All of our guest rooms and public rooms are smoke-free.

	STAY WITH US Spend a romantic night or weekend at the Bee and Thistle in one of our nine elegant guest rooms. Therein you will find fine linens, down pillows and a myriad of luxurious appointments. Added to the list of amenities, each room boasts a private bath. DINING AS OUR GUEST When booking your stay, consider making reservations for dinner, served in our new restaurant, The Chestnut Grille, on Tuesday through Saturday evenings from 5:30–9:00pm. Elegant 3-course picnic dinner available for our houseguests on evenings the restaurant is closed. Choice of Beef, Chicken or Salmon. Price is $35 per person plus tax and beverage. Added to our facilities, coffee and tea are available daily in our North Porch Lounge, as well as daily newspapers. In addition, wireless internet service is available in all of our guest rooms and in our two common rooms. The Bee and Thistle Inn has joined with Snap Fitness, right here in Old Lyme, to provide our houseguests a brand new facility to use at their convenience while staying at the Inn.

		ROOM ONE This Spacious bedroom has a queen four-poster bed, two armchairs, and bath with a walk-in shower. It has a decorative, flameless fireplace. 		ROOM TWO This guest room has a queen four-poster bed, gas fireplace, and a full bath. It has two comfortable wingback chairs, which make it a perfect place to unwind. It overlooks the front lawn and the historic Japanese chestnut tree. Standard Rates June – December: Sun through Thurs: $200* Fri & Sat: $250*

		ROOM THREE This Room includes an enormous, plush king size four-poster bed, upholstered armchair, walk in closet and full bath. It overlooks the north lawn containing numerous bronze sculptures by Andrew DeVries. Standard Rates June – December: Sun through Thurs: $180* Fri & Sat: $230*

		ROOM FOUR This is a bright and sunny guest room. It has a full size bed, upholstered armchair and a full bath. It overlooks the sunken English garden and south lawn with the historic Japanese Chestnut Tree. Also has views of our herb, vegetable, and flower cutting garden. 		ROOM EIGHT This guest room has a queen four-poster bed, love seat, and bathroom with walk-in shower.
